Public website and launch-update privacy notice
Updated September 6, 2026 · Operational notice under review · launch-interest-v2026-09-06
Launch-interest collection is paused. The public demo remains available.
Who operates this site
Embir is the name used on this website. The legal operator and business-registration details are being confirmed. This notice does not represent that a Nevada LLC or DBA has been completed. Launch-interest collection remains paused.
What this notice covers
This notice describes the public website, the browser-based Founder Challenge demo and the launch-update request form. It is an operational disclosure under review, not attorney approval of the separate customer agreement packet. Real customer onboarding, sensitive-document intake and production signing remain subject to their separate readiness gates.
Information you choose to provide
When launch updates are available, the form requests your first and last name, email address, business stage, business type and state. It records your affirmative email consent and privacy acknowledgement, the notice version, source page and submission time. It does not request a phone number, military status, disability information, financial account information or identity documents. Earlier versions allowed optional phone and military-status fields and optional SMS consent; those historical records are not erased or converted into new consent by this update.
Website and security information
Requests to the website expose technical information such as an IP address, requested page and browser information to the hosting and security services. The launch-interest record includes the request IP address and browser user-agent string. Rate limiting and security-event logging help detect abuse; security records can include request time, route and technical identifiers. Sentry error and performance monitoring runs when configured. The application disables its default personal-information option and removes the event user object; this does not mean every diagnostic contains no identifying information.
How information is used
Launch-interest information is used to record your request, understand interest in the service and document permission for launch-related email. This submission endpoint saves a record; it does not send email or SMS. No SMS signup is offered here. Joining a list does not create a customer contract, authorize financial activity or open a member account. Service delivery and any future marketing beyond this purpose require their own appropriate notice and controls.
Service providers and outside websites
Embir's platform uses Vercel for hosting, Cloudflare for network/domain protection, and a PostgreSQL database through Prisma for application records. Sentry provides diagnostics when configured. Clerk is used for enabled account sign-in, and Resend is integrated for transactional email; the launch-interest endpoint does not invoke either account creation or email delivery. Provider processing and storage locations depend on the configured service and account. Optional vendor and learning links lead to other organizations with their own notices. The launch-interest endpoint does not sell records or send them to listed vendors. A future paid vendor listing does not itself authorize sharing your details.
Demo storage and account cookies
The public demo stores its sample profile, assessment, business selection and workspace/funding preferences in this browser. Use fictional information in the demo. Its Restart demo control clears its own demo records; browser site-data controls can clear local storage more broadly. Clearing browser storage does not delete a previously submitted launch-interest or member record from a server. Enabled account sign-in can use authentication cookies and provider storage. Essential network or security services can also process technical identifiers.
How long information is kept
A confirmed schedule for launch-interest records, consent evidence, security logs and backups has not yet been published. New launch-interest collection is paused until the operator confirms retention criteria and a responsible process for reviewing and disposing of records. Existing records remain preserved while that review is completed; this update does not promise automatic deletion or an invented retention period.
Choices and privacy requests
A public mailbox and process for privacy requests are being verified. No unverified privacy mailbox is presented as available. While this is unresolved, new launch-interest collection is paused. You can use the demo without providing an email address and can clear its browser data. A working contact and request-handling process must be published before collection resumes.
Changes to this notice
The form and server use the same notice version. If the operator, contact or retention criteria change, the acknowledgement version changes and an old form must be reviewed again. Historical consent versions are retained. This notice does not remove legal rights or replace the review of jurisdiction-specific privacy obligations before wider customer intake.
